We are happy to provide this service so you can feel good about the choices you make with your dental care. Here’s what you need to know:
The doctor will see you for about 5 to 10 minutes for a brief visual examination regarding your concern.
We will give you the best information and feedback as is possible in the context of the limited nature of our brief visual examination, but the doctor may not be able to provide an exact or complete diagnosis, or a full plan of treatment required. If you have digital x-rays that will be helpful (paper copies are often not clear enough to be diagnostic), please have these transferred to our office ahead of your appointment.
Your second opinion appointment does not include any actual treatment, however if you desire to remain for same-day services, or come back another day for services, please be aware that at that time we will first need to perform either a Comprehensive Oral Evaluation (ADA code D0150) or Detailed and Extensive Oral Evaluation (code D0160), depending on the needs of the individual patient.
Your Second Opinion appointment time is an approximation, so we appreciate your understanding with any delays.
